Building Updates from Trustees

Brian Brothers started work on the outside of our building on Sept. 26. They found two areas of the building where stucco was separated from the structure. The first is about 5 feet square, above and to the left of the Canal Street entrance. The second is about 15% to 20% of the rear of the building generally outside the area where inside walls are damaged. Fortunately, minor damage to the brick structure can be repaired and stucco can be replaced to restore the original exterior appearance.

Brian Brothers will begin prep work for repainting The Gathering Place fire escape structure at the very end of September. The playground will be closed while they are working on the fire escape.

Interior work is not yet scheduled. After damage to the inside of exterior walls is repaired, Trustees and Council have approved repainting the rooms effected the same gray color that is now in the nursery. Brian Brothers will repaint the inside of exterior walls; we will need to repaint the interior walls.
