As 2021 comes to an end, we are remembering all the fun and important events that have taken place at The Gathering Place this past year. Lots and lots of families with young kids meeting at the playground for play dates; a Women’s Fellowship games party which overflowed from the dining room; a large get together of young adults and their kids for a cookout and good conversation; several meetings of various church committees, including church council, the Made To Worship group and a small spiritual sharing group. And who can forget our fabulous spring workday when we spread yards of mulch and tons of pea gravel. And then there were those summertime Lemonade on the Lawn gatherings after church.

Allison DeHart has beautifully furnished an upstairs office and has begun using it for workshops and individual meetings.

This past month Colleen Rose gifted us with a new offering: a time of reflection and meditation with Tibetan singing bowls. Those of one who attended were treated to a sacred quiet time during which we could just be still and listen to God’s voice in the silence. This will hopefully be a regular scheduled event at TGP.

During the coming months we would like to expand our offerings at The Gathering Place and provide a place for many more informal get-togethers as well as for planned events and meetings. So let us know some of your ideas and how we can help make them happen.

Have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.
